What MahZeh Does

MahZeh?! is a document scanning and translation tool that helps users understand Hebrew documents. You upload a document, our AI reads it, and you get a translation and summary back.

What We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service. If you sign up for a paid plan, we store your email address to identify your account. For free users, we use an anonymous hash of your device info to track scan limits — we don't know who you are.

We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, or any other personal data beyond your email (for paid users only).

Your Documents

Documents you upload are sent to the Anthropic Claude API for processing. We do not permanently store your uploaded documents or the translations generated. Documents are processed in memory and discarded after your results are delivered. We do not use your documents to train AI models.

Payment Information

All payments are handled by CardCom, a PCI-compliant Israeli payment processor. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number or payment details. CardCom sends us only a confirmation that payment was successful and the email address you used.

Cookies and Tracking

We use localStorage in your browser to remember your email for login purposes. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics platforms, or any third-party tracking tools.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone. The only third parties that process your data are Anthropic (for AI translation) and CardCom (for payments), both solely to provide the service.

Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Your email and account data are stored on secure servers hosted by Railway.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
